A finely rendered view of a building project on the outskirts of Pisa. In the foreground the architect is shown discussing his plans with a finely dressed gentleman who is surrounded by his subjects. The laborers are busy with their work. The Tower of Pisa is prominent in the background. The view is a great study in Renaissance costume and the building trade.
