Complete 8-page issue of May 7, 1863 containing articles and woodcut maps. On the front cover is "The Battle Field - Scene of the Terrific Conflict Between Hooker's Union Army and Lee's Rebels on Saturday, Sunday and Monday" (9.5 x 7.5"). Three other maps are included: "The Field on Friday" (4.7 x 4.5); "The Battle on Saturday" (4.7 x 6.2"); and "The Great Battle on Sunday" (4.7 x 6.4"). A fine Civil War issue with interesting maps.
