Interesting map of the continent showing the region of disputed territory between the English and the French encompassing the territory between the Appalachian Mountains and the Mississippi River and between Lake Ontario and Lake Huron. It also shows an interesting depiction of the Riv. De L' Ouest connecting Lake Superior with L. Ouinipigon and subsequently off the map toward the Pacific. Simple title cartouche and compass rose.
