Beautifully engraved and detailed plan of a battle in and around Riga in Latvia. Filled with battles, armies, and a large number of cavalry soldiers in the foreground. Evidence of the battles is conveyed through smoke, explosions and the ballistic paths of mortar and cannon shot to and from the ships and the walled city. Two very detailed and large decorative cartouches in a military theme and simulated picture frame borders. Two sheets joined, as issued.

Fine, crisp impression except one corner, which is a bit weaker.
