Lovely map of the Metz Region, centered on Metz and the Moselle River Valley. Richly embellished in each corner with coats of arms, distance scales and a garland draped title cartouche. Latin text on verso.

Condition: B

Lovely original color. Paper is thin along centerfold where the backstrap has been removed. Small manuscript notation in brown ink in cartouche attributing the map to Hondius.
