Very fine plan of the city that includes the walled fortress at its center, highlighted in red. Good detail within the city as individual buildings and streets are shown and named. Large panoramic engraving shows the city from across the Neva River with the Isakiefskoi Bridge in the foreground. The Winter Palace, Admiralty, War Office, Statue of Peter I., and Isaac's Church are shown and named on the view. Title repeated in Russian. Published by Baldwin & Cradock.
