A very fine map of Israel based on the elder Visscher's map of the same title. North is oriented to the left with a lovely compass rose. The map is filled with graphic topography and beautifully embellished with a vignette of the crucifixion, several ships, angels and a handsome title cartouche.

Condition: B

Some minor surface soil. Expert repairs on bottom centerfold and a couple of areas of minor paper weakness.
