Great early woodblock map of the island of Ceylon base on Martin Waldseemuller's map of 1513. The large island is shown with the coast of Indiae Pars to the east of the island and several spurious small islands surround it. Title is on verso.

Lightly toned on centerfold with a brown ink manuscript notation in map.
