Colton, 1855 and published by Johnson & Browning, circa 1860 is a nice sheet (16 x 13") with four maps enclosed in a scroll border each depicting lakes or islands in both hemispheres. Mountains & Rivers by Johnson and Ward, circa 1863 is an interesting comparative chart (23.7 x 16.5") presented with the mountains and volcanoes at right and the rivers at left. Major world cities are shown scattered across the mountains at their appropriate elevations.
