Large Ptolemaic map of northern Africa extending from the Atlantic to the Arabian Sea. There is considerable detail along the Nile and coastlines with many place names. Extends south to below the Tropic of Cancer and to the Aharrag Mountains, here the Azar Mons.

References:

Condition: B

Damp stains in margins, with light stains in map. Bit of worming in bottom margin. Manuscript brown ink number 81 at bottom right corner.
