A scarce chart of St. Lucia's west coast showing strictly coastal information from Point Chimahin to Point la Brelotte. The British batteries at Careenage are denoted. The chart was drawn during the Anglo-French rivalry for the island during the eighteenth century. It is noted below the cartouche that the island was "taken by a Squadron of Ships commanded by the Honourable Captain Augustus Hervey."
