Handsome, large-scale sea chart of Santa Catarina complete with soundings, anchorages, channels, and lighthouses. Insets of "Anchorage of Nossa Senhora do Desterro" and "South Entrance of Santa Catharina Strait." A profile view of the northern entrance to the strait is a bottom. The chart is based on both French and British surveys and was first published in 1865. This chart is updated to 1885.
