Large decorative map of southeastern France. Fully engraved with mountains, forests, roads and cities. Large inset surrounded in a decorative border with fortification plans of Bayonne and Blaye, and a fine vignette view of the city of Bordeaux. Further embellished with large title cartouche with figures of a soldier, Neptune, a queen, a maiden and the royal crest, and a garland draped scale of miles.

Map in full original color, cartouches and vignettes uncolored as issued. Faint damp stains in margins, slightly intruding into map at bottom.
