Dutch Bible map covering the region between the Mediterranean and the Persian Gulf, featuring the Garden of Eden. Strapwork title cartouche flanked by scenes of Eve offering Adam an apple, and the expulsion from the Garden of Eden. A lovely, decorative map with the scale of miles decorated with a fisherman (a signature frequently used by Visscher).
