Scarce woodcut view of the holy city of Jerusalem seen from the east. Numerous place names, in and around, the walled city. Bunting's Itinerarium Sacra Scripturae, or Travels According to the Scriptures, was first published in 1581. A description of Biblical lands, it was a popular book that was reprinted many times. This being from the very uncommon Czech edition. Color copy of the atlas title page included.
