Dated jigsaw puzzle of the United States complete and with the original box. The 48-state map includes several insets: Alaska, Puerto Rico, Cuba and the Bahama Islands, Hawaii, Philippines, Guam, Howland and Baker Islands, Wake Island, Samoa, and Midway or Brooks Is. - all with annexation dates. The map is brightly colored and lithographed. The box top has a lovely stone lithograph incorporating the American flag. Inside box top is printed to show the completed puzzle.

Lid of box has one side missing and a couple of splits, two repaired with linen tape. Map mostly fine with paper fraying at a couple of edges.
