Unusual pair of celestial charts of the northern and southern skies. A wide band of French text surrounds each chart and astronomical diagrams fill the corners. The constellations are well rendered in allegorical form.

Condition: B

Generally fine with good impressions and nice later color. Chart of the northern sky has expert restoration of paper in bottom left margin including minor facsimile of part of the diagram and loss of some text.
