A German edition of Bellin's map of James Bay, extending north to above Cape Henriette Marie. Details numerous rivers flowing into the bay, notes anchorages in the south, names Ft. Rupert, Fort d'Albani, F. S. Anne and more. Dated 1744, but published in 1756 by Arkstee & Merkus.

Condition: B

On a sheet of fine hand laid paper with full margins. A hint of toning or foxing and tiny printer's creases, else very good.
