A large and remarkable map that shows an ambitious project that involved 29 miles of canal and 400 miles of rivers and lakes to create the waterway. Detailed plan involving all rivers is across the entire bottom of the map. Locates Ottawa and Montreal. Filled with detail on a scale of 12 miles per inch. Light blue wash coloring in waterways. Apparently a rare chart as we find no mention of this map in our references or on the web.
