This colorful map illustrates the status of lands allocated to various tribes throughout the territory. This map and the preceeding lot, issued only four years earlier, provides a facinating contrast and study of the progress of settlement and surveying. This issue was published to accompany George Catlin's Indian Gallery, by Thomas Donaldson.
