Beautifully engraved sheet from a rare 25-sheet wall map published by Nicolaas and Jacob Kruikius of Delft. This is the southeast sheet showing towns, villages, churches, houses, polders, canals, roads, windmills, and topographic features in the region of Bleyswyk, on a scale of 1:10,000. The sheet is decorated with the large coat of arms of the water district official Simon van Beaumont and a lavish scene representing the rich bounty of the region.

Superb impression and lovely later color. Short split on bottom fold, not affecting map.
