A reduced version of Hondius' folio map of China from the slightly larger pocket atlas published by Cloppenburg. The detail includes the eastern part of China (bounded in the west by the Great Wall) dominated by several large lakes and major rivers, Korea as an elongated island, and the three main islands of Japan. Strapwork title cartouche. Engraved by Petrus Kaerius. French text on verso.
