Lot of two large and very detailed engraved charts.
1) "Die sichtbare Seite der Mond-Oberflache ebei voller Beleuchtung," 16 x 13". This is remarkably detailed and informative view of the surface of the moon. Tables around the moon give the name of each crater and key to the moon. Over 350 craters are located and named! A particularly nice rendering of the moon.
2) "Planeten-System der Sonne," 14.5 x 12.6". A large and very precisely engraved plan of the solar system that includes the track of five comets. Plus lovely views of Saturn and Jupiter as seen through a telescope, additional diagrams and charts.
A very nice pair of matched charts.

Lovely, crisp impressions with original coloring and full margins. A couple of insignificant spots on #2, still very good.
