Copper engraved chart that is a very early depiction of New Caledonia and the New Hebrides Islands. The track of Cook's ship is shown from New Zealand north through the island chains. Chart notes that New Caledonia was discovered on August 5, 1774.

Condition: B

A couple of light foxing spots, else very good. On fine hand laid paper.
