Great map features six states plus an inset of Tasmania. Names the regions and delineates them through hand coloring and engraved line. Not much detail in the interior, but the known features are well mapped. Locates towns, watershed, lakes and rivers, and a few railroads. Excellent detail along coastline, especially so on the eastern coast. Dated 1878. Fine map of Palestine on verso.

Light pastel color with wide margins. A few very light spots, still very good.
