This is Volume II of the auction catalogs for the famous collection of Americana formed by Thomas Streeter, sold by Parke-Bernet Galleries in 1967. Considered one of the five most important sales of the last half of the twentieth century, the catalogues are now considered a standard reference for Americana. This volume includes books on New England, the American Revolution, the Middle Colonies, the French and Indian War, The Continental Congress, the War of 1812, southern colonies and states, the Carolinas, Georgia, and Florida. It list 685 items and is profusely illustrated and indexed. Hardbound in original boards, large 8vo., 984 pp., plus index.
