One of the few books to illustrate nineteenth century maps. 143 pages and 78 full color illustrations. A good reference, as well as a beautiful book with excellent reproductions of maps throughout. Hardbound in tan cloth with gilt titling on cover and spine. Original illustrated dustjacket.
