First, originally published in 1900, was compiled from the vast collection in the Library of Congress. A great reference on the mapping of our country's capital. Hardbound in library buckram. 87 pages. Second is a reprint from the original publication of 1896 by the first Superintendent of Maps with the Library of Congress. This bibliographic monograph contains lengthy descriptions of some 200 maps of Virginia, one of the earliest Europeanized regions of America. The list begins with White's map of 1585 and ends with the Rand McNally map of 1893. 85 pages, hardbound in library buckram. Both hardbound in buckram.
