This very early bird's eye view shows the small community with several sailing ships in the harbor. It provides wonderful detail of individual houses, some already climbing up Knob Hill. Very delicately colored stone lithograph. Also published in Bill's "The Treasure of History; Being a History of the World," in 1851. A rarely seen and most desirable view.
