Beautifully and finely engraved with original outline coloring. Two polar hemispheres in blank areas detail the known geography of the polar regions. Antarctica is barely taking shape with most detail in the New South Shetland area. Explorers notes and partial exploration tracks are shown throughout and there is a remarkable amount of detail in the South Pacific with a myriad of islands delineated and named.

Nice impression and original color. Original margins with paper label at tabbed notch still attached. A little scattered foxing at lower center in blank ocean and some along top margin, else very good.
