Large, boldly engraved map of Holstein and southern Denmark. Names the fortified cities of Tonning, Husum, Sonderborg, Flensborg, and Sleswight. Shoals and passages are fully engraved in the sea. Large pictorial title cartouche features figures and commerce from the region, uncolored as issued.

References:

Condition: B

Beautiful dark impression and lovely full original coloring. Some toning along centerfold and a couple spots, else very good. Narrow lower margin, as issued.

Estimate: $250 - $300
