Handsome map of the southeast part of Belgium fully engraved to show mountains, forests, villages and fortifications. Namur is at the center of the map. Also locates and names the fortified cities of Huy, Ghiney, Dinant, Bouignes, Fontaine, Charleroy and Giblou. Two striking cartouches, one flanked by cherubs with weapons and a military theme, the other with a coat of arms showing a lion and another cherub. Compass rose and two distance scales.

Dark impression with strong original color and good margins. Centerfold split into map with repair on verso. A couple of tiny wormholes in top neatline with old repairs.
