An early edition of Ortelius' first map of Silesia published between 1570 and 1573. It is based on a map by the Silesien cartographer Martin Helweg in 1561, and is beautifully engraved with large forests, mountain ranges, and a strapwork title cartouche and coat of arms. Latin text on verso.
