Lot of fine copper engravings from Pufendorf's famous chronicle on The Northern Wars and military campaigns of Sweden's King Charles X. First (14.6 x 11.2") is a superb bird's-eye view of the bombardment of Szczecin with bombs bursting in the air over the city and cavalry clashes in the foreground. Second (12.2 x 9.9") shows the fortifications, monastery and gardens at Wisniczu. Third (12.2 x 9.8") features the fortifications and village of Tenczynek. All are enclosed in picture-frame style borders with decorative cartouches.
