French edition of this beautifully engraved map depicting hills and forests, rivers and larger cities as colored miniature castles. Embellished with a decorative title cartouche and border with latitude and longitude. A very striking and boldly rendered map.

Lovely, original coloring and dark impression on a full sheet with wide margins. Scattered foxing or toning, mostly in margins, lighter toning along centerfold.
