Stone engraved map with very fine detail throughout. The three insets; Environs of Lisbon, Gibraltar, and the Environs of Madrid, are drawn on a larger scale than the main map. The provinces are distinguished with hand coloring in lovely pastel shades. Other information includes the names of countries, provinces, cities and towns, and delineation of rivers, lakes, railroads, and mountains.

A few foxing spots in blank area around distance scales, more in margins, still very good.
