Very detailed map covering Oceania from the east coast of Australia to California. Locates scores of islands including tiny islands and shoals. Surrounded in a delicately engraved border with vignettes of Kalakakooa - Sandwich Islands, Otaheiti, Harbour of Dory - New Guinea, and Resolution Bay - Marguesas.

On thick paper with good margins for this issue. Original outline color with borders and vignettes uncolored, as issued. A few spots else very good. Slight toning on fold.
