Decorative steel engraved map of the island with good details and featuring large and well-rendered vignettes. They include Hobarton, and a Tasmanian Tiger (Thylacinus Cynocephalus). This early edition calls Hobart Town 'Hobarton' and it does not contain the Seal nor the vignette of the V.D.L. Company residence. Surrounded by a delicately engraved decorative border. Borders and vignettes uncolored, as issued.
