Very unusual and graphically striking world map with over 30 small colored scenes illustrating activities in different parts of the world, e.g. gold mining in California, seal-killing in Greenland, numerous ships, a monster in the south Atlantic, Polar bear in the Arctic, etc… Accompanied by a 36 pp. Pamphlet, titled same as the map, with text in German, gazetteer style. Backed with heavy linen, two tiny splits on centerfold. Light scattered toning, else very good.
