Lovely road map from this very scarce work, which is rarely seen on the market. The map is very similar to Ogilby's road maps in style and decoration, but on a reduced scale. Beginning in London, the road winds its way through villages, woods, hills, and parks to the city of Oxford. Terrific plan of London in the first panel and Oxford in the final one. Includes the towns of Uxbridge, Beaconsfield, High Wickham, and Tetswirth. Very decorative chart with scroll-like panels and six compass roses.
