Very detailed map that features the walled and fortified city of Frankfurt. Large inset at top "Prospect der Stadt Hanau gegen Mittag anzusehen" is a fine bird's-eye panorama of the fortified town. A legend locates and names 21 important buildings in Hanau. Title cartouche is surrounded by mythological figures including Mercury. Engraved by A. Schneider.

Dark impression and original coloring. Clean split just into map at bottom, closed on verso. A few insignificant spots, else very good.
