Very fine detail throughout showing forests, roads, scores of towns and villages, rivers and topography. Lovely bird's-eye inset view of the university town of Giessen with the allegorical figure of Fame blowing on a trumpet, and the handsome coat of arms of Giessen. Inset with two large architectural vignettes of university buildings. Finally a decorative cartouche at upper right encloses an extensive legend for the main map.
