Pair of copper engravings showing the Dutch forts on Goree Island in present-day Senegal. The first (14.3 x 11") presents a coastal view of the two forts with ships in the foreground. The English title is above a cartouche supported by an eagle that contains the title in Dutch. The second (11.7 X 8.1") is a fine view of the interior of Fort Nassau with Fort Orange in the background.
