The European Image and Mapping of America is a transcript of the first James Ford Bell Lecture given by R.A. Skelton (5.3" x 8"). Skelton used slides, none of which are illustrated here, but an extensive Notes section compensates somewhat. Paper wrappers, 28 pp., (5" x 8").
Our Forgotten History was written by John Booth in 1986 and published by Cambridge House Books (7.7" x 10"). It outlines the development of British map making from the invention of the printing press in the fifteenth century to the end of the seventeenth century. Paper covers with title in red cartouche, 40 pp.
From Sea Unto Sea contains 38 early maps of Canada or North America relating to early exploration in Canada (11" x 15.5"). Over half in full color with extensive cartographic and historical references for each. Published by Fleet Publishers in 1982. Pictorial paper covers, 80pp. Contents: Title page; Introduction; Acknowledgements; Table of Maps and Sea Charts; text and illustrations. Written by Joe C. Armstrong. A nice collection of reference books.
