Finely engraved copper plate map filled with details. The British mapmaker has shown Britain in possession of the Northwestern United States down to the Columbia river. Alaska is Russian Possessions, Canada is British Possessions, and Mexico controls the entire Southwest and California. The United States extends to the Pacific Ocean with the large unsettled region called Missouri Territory. A large Arkansas Territory is evident. Keyboard-style borders.
