This small map of Florida and the South is based largely upon the earlier maps of Sanson and Duval. It provides minimal detail from the Mississippi Valley to Florida, retaining the spurious May Lake and an incorrect location and course of the Mississippi River. Drape-style title cartouche in sky.

Condition: A

Light plate ink residue. Tin bit of brown paper hinge tape on top edge of verso.
