Detailed down to individual blocks, piers, parks, etc. Locates the California dry dock at Hunter's Point, excellent detail of the Presidio, the Jockey Club, Fort Mason, Lick Old Ladies Home, City Hospital, and more. Names the sections of town including Sunny Side, Stanford Heights, Rancho Rincon de las Salinas, Richmond, etc. Shows Goat Island, Seal Rocks, the Cliff House, and Golden Gate Park. Attractive Victorian style titling. At upper right is a small inset titled "General View of San Francisco Bay." Lithographed by Galloway of San Francisco. A scarce and very desirable plan of the city.
