A colorful and detailed chart showing the location of oyster beds made from a survey by Lt. Franklin Swift, USN, Commanding U.S.F.C. Steamer Fish Hawk from 12 Nov. 1895 to 22 March 1896. The notes explain the use of color to indicate the status of the beds. Locates the islands of St. Vincent and Sand, and Saint Georges Islands. Good street detail of the town of Apalachicola, just east of the Constitution Monument State Park in Florida's Panhandle. John J. Brice was the commissioner between 1896 - 1898.
