A very nicely rendered lithographic bird's-eye view of Cape Cod that extends from Cutty Hunk and Naushon Island to Boston and Marblehead in the far distance. Includes Provincetown, Barnstable, Sandwich, Hyannis, Buzzard's Bay, Plymouth, New Bedford, Bridgewater, etc. Locates the Monomy, Chatham, Nauset, Highland, Race Point, Nantucket, Cape Poge, East Chop, Nobska, Stage Point, Gurnet, Plymouth, Minots, Graves, Wings Neck, Bird Island, Dumpling Rock, and Boston lighthouses. The canal, planned from the 1820's, was finally completed in 1914. Folds into original paper covers with blue titles. Engraved Albert E. Downs, Boston and published by The Union News Company. A scarce issue for which we found no references.
