A terrific bird's-eye view of Manhattan to about the southern extent of Central Park. Brooklyn is at lower left and New Jersey can be seen in the background. Very precisely engraved with a large number of ships of all types in the two rivers. With German subtitle, "New-York Mit Umgebung aus der Vogelperspective." A rare example that may have served as a proof as it is printed on an unused four-page letter sheet.
